Yamina says MKs fully on board with Bennett’s efforts to form government
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Yamina faction meeting has ended less than an hour after it started.
A statement from the party says Bennett updated lawmakers on the “events of recent days and his efforts to form a stable and functioning government.”
Yamina says the faction unanimously backed “his efforts to form a government and prevent fifth elections.” MK Amichai Chikli was not in attendance, meaning the decision was backed by the six of seven Yamina lawmakers there, including Bennett.
The party also says there may be a televised statement this evening.
