Zoabi says Israel ‘moral descent’ similar to 1930s Germany
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJoint (Arab) List MK Hanin Zoabi uses a ceremony honoring the anniversary of Kristallnacht to compare Israeli policy to the moral descent in Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
“I am honored to speak on behalf of the victims of Kristallnacht, and on behalf of all victims of racism and oppression,” Zoabi says.
“I have the honor of speaking on behalf of the Jewish opposition and on behalf of all Jews who oppose oppression throughout their lives,” Zoabi adds, during the event in Amsterdam.
“Most Israelis today believe that the Jewish Zionist values are more important than democracy,” she charges.
“It is easy to notice the gradual moral descent that reminds us of Germany during the 1930s.
