Man dies in Modi’in construction accident
Building contractor fell down elevator shaft
A man fell to his death in an elevator shaft in a building under construction on Gissin Street in Modi’in on Monday morning.
The man was identified by Magen David Adom as a 60-year-old building contractor. Rescue services who arrived on the scene attempted in vain to save his life for over an hour.
The police and the Labor Ministry launched an investigation into the causes of the accident.
