One person was killed Saturday and several others were seriously injured in car accidents throughout the country.
In the Golan Heights, a man was killed when a tractor overturned, pinning the victim down.
An 8-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Route 90. A truck that overturned near the Arava Junction seriously injured one man and moderately injured another.
In Holon, a man aged around 30 was seriously hurt in a crash between a motorcycle and a car. Also in the city an electric bike rider was seriously hurt after being hit by a car.
Those accidents came a day after a year-old baby and a man in his 30s were killed in a car crash near Haifa. Three family members of the infant — two parents and a 6-year-old girl — were injured.

Help us report truthfully on social media
As a multimedia journalist, my job is to take the quality, fact-based journalism produced by The Times of Israel newsroom and make it accessible across every platform — from Instagram posts to podcasts to short-form videos.
This is how many, especially young people, consume news these days. But misinformation is rampant on social media. Our team at ToI produces accurate, responsible short-form reporting on Israel and the Jewish world.
If you believe in the importance of factual social media journalism, please consider joining our reader support group, The Times of Israel Community. Your financial support is essential to sustain responsible multimedia reporting.
