A 17-year-old Palestinian from an East Jerusalem refugee camp died Saturday after being stabbed, apparently in a brawl, in a suspected murder.

The teenager, a resident of Shuafat, was pronounced dead after he was taken to the hospital with stab wounds to his body.

“The circumstances of the incident are still not clear,” a police statement said.

The boy was later named as Abed Al-Rahman Haddad.

According to reports, the boy was stabbed during a brawl near the entrance to the camp, a video of which was shared on social media. In the clip, the youth can be seen collapsing to the ground.

Police said officers were headed to the scene and that an investigation was underway.
