Rescue services renewed a search Sunday morning for a 21-year-old man who entered the Sea of Galilee on an inflatable raft and drifted away from the shore on Saturday evening.

The man, from the Arab city of Arrabeh, entered the water on the raft along with two friends.

Police said they received a call from a local resident at around 7:15 p.m. to report that the three were floating away from the shore.

One of the young men managed to make it back to Berniki Beach on the western side of the lake, and a second man was rescued by Sea of Galilee water police services.
