Jerry Seinfeld tore into a pro-Palestinian activist who heckled him during a Sunday show in Sydney, Australia, as the crowd cheered the comedian on.

Video from the event did not show how the confrontation began. According to Fox news, he accused Seinfeld of being a “genocide supporter.”

“We have a genius, ladies and gentlemen,” Seinfeld said to laughter. “He’s solved the Middle East. He’s solved it! It’s the Jewish comedians, that’s who we have to get.”

Referring to security, he added: “They’re going to start punching you in about three seconds, so I would try to get all of your genius out so we can all learn from you.”

The Jewish entertainer has come out strongly in support of Israel amid the war, making him a target of anti-Israel activists.

Most recently last month he told Bari Weiss in an interview that his visit to Israel last year in the wake of Hamas’s October 7 massacre was “the most powerful experience” of his life.

As the heckler in Sydney was escorted out he cried out, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”

“You’re really influencing everyone here,” Seinfeld said to roars of laughter in the audience. “We’re all on your side now, because you’ve made your point so well, and in the right venue. You’ve come to the right place for a political conversation. You have to go 20,000 miles from the problem and screw up a comedian, that is how you solve world issues.”
