Settlers appear to be filmed entering Palestinian village, harassing locals at night
Assailants appear to ride on vehicles whose model matches those provided by government; police arrest three teens over November settler attack on village

The ATV used in the footage appears to be of the same model given by the government last year to illegal farming outposts in the West Bank with the stated goal of “strengthening the resilience” of such outposts and “deepening” Israeli control of the territory.
Another clip shows a water pipeline after it was broken apart by settlers, according to Fasa’il residents.
Separately on Monday night, apparent settlers threw rocks at Palestinian vehicles on a road near the village of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, footage showed.
Such harassment is reported and documented on a near-daily basis in Palestinian villages adjacent to Israeli outposts that have mushroomed across the West Bank over the past two and a half years.
Extremist settler attacks largely go unchecked. Prosecutions of Jewish extremists are rare, and convictions are even rarer. Critics have accused the government, described as the most hardline in Israel’s history, of shrugging off the attacks.

Enforcement against the settler attacks is rare, with villagers saying oftentimes Israeli authorities arrive at the scene too late and then end up arresting the Palestinian locals, rather than the settler instigators.
An exception occurred Tuesday when police announced they had arrested three teenage settlers on suspicion of torching cars and buildings during an attack on a West Bank Palestinian village in November.
The investigation has been ongoing for several months. In the attack, dozens of Jewish extremists burned three vehicles and three buildings in Jaba, a village west of Bethlehem.
According to the IDF, the attack was carried out in November in connection with the government’s evacuation and demolition of Tzur Misgavi, an outpost in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc. Police said the attack “caused heavy damage, without any casualties.”
The three suspects, ages 17-19, reside in Kiryat Arba, a West Bank settlement, and Ma’alot, in northern Israel. They were apprehended on Tuesday and are being questioned by West Bank District police investigators, police said.
Three times more Palestinians were victims of terror attacks in the West Bank than Jews in January, according to figures from Israel’s security establishment reported on Sunday.
The data reflects the continuation of a months-long rise in attacks by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and Israeli security forces in the West Bank. The number of such attacks rose by 27 percent in 2025 compared to the previous year, according to data recorded by the Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet security agency.
The number of serious incidents of “nationalistic crime” by settler extremists, classified by Israeli security bodies as terrorism, also rose by over 50%, according to the data.
Hundreds of families have fled their homes rather than put up with the persistent violence, with extremist settler activists celebrating that development, claiming it is in line with their agenda to take over more West Bank land.

Overall, violence in the West Bank has soared since the Hamas attack on Israel triggered the Gaza war in October 2023.
More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers since the war started, according to the Palestinian Authority health ministry. The IDF says the vast majority of them were gunmen killed in exchanges of fire, rioters who clashed with troops or terrorists carrying out attacks.
During the same period, 65 civilians and Israeli security personnel have been killed in terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank. Another eight members of the security forces were killed in clashes during raids in Palestinian cities in the West Bank.
