Spanish tourist dies after falling from height in Judean Desert
Woman fell some 10 meters near Mar Saba Monastery; police and rescue forces arrived at the scene but were unable to save her

A Spanish tourist was killed in the Judean Desert Friday after falling some 10 meters (30 feet).
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Mar Saba Monastery, a Greek Orthodox monastery located between Bethlehem and the Dead Sea.
Police, military and other rescue forces rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the accident, but were unable to save the woman.
Police said they were looking into the circumstances.
