Oasis in the Galilee: A country retreat at Israel’s Hula Valley

Ensconced in the rolling hills north of the Sea of Galilee lies a picturesque country retreat, Oasis in the Galilee, a private hideaway on almost 30 verdant dunams (7-1/2 acres), surrounded by lush gardens and fruit trees at the foot of Mt. Eliezer.

There is a small fish pond, and benches provide areas for relaxation and calm contemplation. The garden also features a cozy conversation nook under a shady canopy of trees. There are orange, grapefruit, lemon and clementine trees in the garden, as well as olive trees, an apple tree and a mango tree, plus tables for outdoor dining.

Oasis in the Galilee is in Sede Eliezer, a community of mainly agricultural farms. The orchards at Oasis in the Galilee contain mainly nectarines. About six dunams (1-1/2 acres) of the farm about the Hula Valley Nature Preserve.

There is room for expansion. Plans were approved for the construction of additional buildings on the property, and similar plans can be refiled by a new owner.
