Three Arab teenagers from Jerusalem’s Old City have been arrested on suspicion of spraying nationalistic graffiti on the ancient walls and doors, police announced Tuesday.
The Muslim Quarter of the Old City has seen a spate of Hebrew and Arabic graffiti that included anti-Jewish slogans and swastikas.
Police opened an investigation that led to the Monday arrest of the three suspects, two 18-year-olds and a 14-year-old.
After questioning, the three were brought before a judge who ordered the two older suspects kept in custody while the 14-year-old was released to house arrest.
