WATCH: Mourner prays for extermination of the Jews at Palestinian funeral

Unidentified speaker urges Allah to ‘Strike the Jews, count them, kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one’

A mourner prayed for the extermination of all Jews at the funeral last week for two Palestinians killed in clashes with Israeli security forces in the West Bank.

During the ceremony — broadcast live on official Palestinian Authority TV — the unidentified man calls on Allah to “do justice to the oppressed against the oppressors, and give them victory over the tyrants, O Master of the Universe. Strike the Jews, count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

Laith Manasrah and Abu al-Aish were shot dead last week by Israel Defense Forces soldiers during clashes that broke out as the army demolished the West Bank home of Palestinian terrorist Muhammad Abu Shaheen, who murdered 25-year-old Israeli Danny Gonen earlier this year.

Footage of the funeral was translated Monday by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), an Israel-based watchdog that monitors Palestinian outlets for anti-Israel and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

The IDF said its troops came under fire while razing the Shaheens’ Qalandiya home on November 16, and defended the soldiers’ response.

“During the activity, suspects opened fire at the forces. In response to the immediate danger, forces fired towards the attackers. Three hits were confirmed,” the army said in a statement at the time.

Palestinian reports said that Manasrah and al-Aish were only observing the demolition when they were shot by the IDF. Palestinian hospital sources said dozens were wounded in the clash in the refugee camp north of Jerusalem.

Israel’s practice of demolishing the family homes of terrorists has been criticized by non-governmental groups, but government officials have defended its use as a deterrent against attacks. Critics claim that in addition to being a form of collective punishment, house demolitions could motivate family members of terrorists to launch attacks themselves.

The Shin Bet security service last week said that family members of Hebron resident Shadi Ahmad Matua, the alleged perpetrator of a deadly terror attack in the West Bank, turned him in to Israeli authorities in an effort to prevent the family home from being demolished. The family denied this.
