According to medics, the man was performing some kind of work on the pedestrian bridge between the Hashalom train station and the Azrieli Mall.
Police said they opened an investigation into the circumstances of the man’s death and that he was around 40 years old.
According to Channel 13 news, the man landed on a vehicle on the highway, close to the Hashalom interchange.
Passerby Gedalyah Reback said that at around 9:30 a.m. the man fell through a glass barrier on the bridge.
