Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA 24-year-old resident of the southern Bedouin town of Tel Sheva was indicted in the Beersheba District Court on Sunday for the murder of his 16-year old sister.
Police allege that Ahmed Alasam killed his sister Aisha about three weeks ago, cutting her throat with a knife after an argument over family honor, and then reported himself to the authorities.
The indictment stated that Aisha Alasam, who lived in Taibeh with her husband, had shortly before moved back in with her family.
