2 lightly injured in small plane crash
Pilot and passenger, 80 and 81, only people aboard aircraft that apparently slipped off of runway during touchdown
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn octogenarian pilot and passenger were lightly injured when their plane slipped off the runway during an apparent emergency landing in Haifa.
The pilot, 80, reportedly misjudged the length of the runway. His navigator, 81, was also injured when the light aircraft crashed. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Officials were investigating the circumstances of the emergency landing and subsequent accident.
