Security forces are investigating apparent gunfire in the West Bank city of Hebron.

A resident told police Wednesday morning that he found a bullet hole in his car’s shattered window.

The car was parked at the time near the Tomb of the Patriarchs holy site, which has been the scene of dozens of Palestinian terror attacks and clashes between security forces and Palestinian demonstrators in recent weeks.

Soldiers guarding the site also reported hearing gunfire Wednesday morning.

There are no known injuries from the incident.
