Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired an RPG at IDF vehicles and planted two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) near the border fence on Friday evening, Walla! news reported.
Soldiers manning two IDF vehicles called in reinforcements after taking the RPG fire from the Gaza Strip. When additional forces arrived and returned fire, terrorist forces detonated an IED. The IDF reported no injuries in the attack, but the border fence incurred damage.
Earlier, terrorists inside the Gaza Strip also fired two rockets into Israeli territory, one landing in the vicinity of Ashkelon, the other near Eshkol, along the Gaza border. Both rockets exploded without causing injury or damage.

An army official held Hamas accountable for the assault. “Hamas is responsible for the actions in the Gaza Strip,” he said, adding that “it will suffer the consequences.”
