Jerusalem police arrested five members of a crime organization on Thursday in connection with a suspected bomb plot, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
The suspects are believed to be members of the Itzhak Abergil organized crime ring. They are accused of plotting to commit a serious crime, and possession of firearms.
On Tuesday police found an explosive device on Hebron Road in the capital. The suspicion is that arrested men intended to use the bomb to target a known felon.
