Jerusalem police arrested a teenager for putting a knife to a teacher’s throat and threatening his life.

The incident happened Wednesday after the teacher intervened to break up a high-school fight between the pupil and another teacher. The teen pulled out a knife, held it to the teacher’s throat and threatened to kill him. The youth then fled the scene.

The 17-year-old was apprehended on Wednesday night and was being brought before Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
