TONIGHT: Join us in Jerusalem for a live elections event in which you set the agenda
On October 19 at the Train Theater, our team of political experts are ready to answer your burning questions ahead of the November 1 elections — plus interactive polling

To mark The Times of Israel’s 10-year anniversary, we are hosting a special series of live, in-person events this year under the banner ToI@10.
Just ahead of the November 1 Israeli elections, we’re excited to invite you to our third event at Jerusalem’s Train Theater on October 19 at 8 p.m. — Paralyzed Nation: How Israel’s dysfunctional electoral system still could be fixed.
It’s an evening in which you, the audience, set the agenda: founding editor David Horovitz, senior analyst Haviv Rettig Gur, political correspondent Tal Schneider, political correspondent Carrie Keller-Lynn, and settlements reporter Jeremy Sharon will answer your burning questions, moderated by deputy editor Amanda Borschel-Dan.
Submit your questions ahead of time HERE.
At this live recording of our new limited podcast series, Paralyzed Nation, The Times of Israel’s expert political team will delve into a swath of issues. Why is the left shrinking? What explains the rise of the far right? What reforms have been proposed to fix these repeated deadlocks — and what are their chances of being enacted?
We will also take the room’s political temperature and have fun with some anonymous interactive polling along the way. Let’s see if any of our answers change your minds!
