The rocket landed in an open area and no damage or injuries were reported.
Rocket fire from Gaza has become sporadic in the last several weeks after a round of fighting ended in mid-June. Hamas, which rules the strip, says it cannot control splinter groups shooting the rockets.
Also Monday afternoon, a Molotov cocktail was thrown by Palestinians at an Israeli Border Police patrol car near Beit Hagai in the West Bank.
