Amsalem says he’ll revise bill in accordance with PM’s wishes
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLikud’s Amsalem says he’ll revise the police recommendations bill to accommodate the prime minister’s request to exclude him from the controversial legislation.
In a Facebook post, Amsalem says he “respects the request of the prime minister,” and will consult with coalition chairman David Bitan and the heads of the coalition parties on the amendment.
Amsalem posts this on Facebook while chairing the Knesset’s Internal Affairs Committee, which is voting on hundreds of opposition objections to the as-yet-unrevised police recommendations bill.
