Artist shocks audience at Haaretz confab
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israeli social media sphere is atwitter after controversial performance artist Ariel Bronz goes onstage at a Haaretz culture conference and proceeds to pelt audience members with oranges.
After some spectators boo and throw the oranges back at Bronz, organizers request that he get off the stage.
At that point, he turns his back to the audience and proceeds to penetrate himself with a flag, according to accounts on Twitter and Haaretz’s website.
Ushers then remove him from the stage.
