Belarus preparing to send troops into Ukraine: reports
Belarus is preparing to join Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a US official tells The Washington Post.
The move could come as soon as tomorrow, the official says.
“It’s very clear Minsk is now an extension of the Kremlin,” the official says.
The Kyiv Independent says a transport plane could carry Belarus paratroopers into Ukraine as early as 5 a.m.
Belarus allowed Russian troops to mass on its territory before the invasion, and directly invade Ukraine from Belarus.
