France’s Macron urges Iran to cease attacks against Middle East countries
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFrench President Emmanuel Macron has asked Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to put an immediate end to the attacks Iran is carrying out against countries in the region, whether directly or through proxies, including in Lebanon and Iraq, Macron says in an X post.
He adds that “freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz must be restored as soon as possible.”
