Rocket sirens are sounding in the southern city of Netivot and other towns close to the border with the Gaza Strip, as a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad is set to begin in about half an hour.

According to initial reports, at least three projectiles are launched from the Strip, one of which is intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system.

There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage in the latest attack.
