Golan to remain part of Israel, PM tells Putin
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIn Moscow, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tells Russian President Vladimir Putin that the Golan Heights will remain part of Israeli territory, the Russian Interfax news agency reports.
“I have come to Russia to step up coordination on security matters, to prevent mistakes, misunderstandings,” Netanyahu says, referring to Syria, according to the report.
The prime minister also stresses that Israel will do “everything” to prevent Hezbollah from obtaining advanced weapons.
