Hamas denies it killed Egyptian chief prosecutor

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri rejects the Egyptian government’s allegation that his group colluded with the Muslim Brotherhood to kill Egypt’s chief prosecutor.

In a fuming statement, Zuhri condemns the allegations, calling it “false” and asserting that it is not in line with efforts to develop the relationship between Hamas and Cairo.

He says the claims exploit Hamas to make hay in “internal Egyptian disputes.”
