Hamas welcomes Sissi remarks on Palestinian unity
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Palestinian terror group Hamas welcomes Sissi’s remarks about Palestinian unity in a televised speech earlier today.
In a statement on its website, Hamas writes that it “welcomes the Egyptian statements for realizing Palestinian reconciliation, and emphasizes [its] readiness to deal with all the efforts to achieve reconciliation and restore national unity.”
The statement makes no mention of Sissi’s support for fresh efforts to advance the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
