IDF gives names of 6 soldiers killed in APC attack
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF releases the names of six Golani soldiers killed on Sunday when their armored personnel carrier was hit by an anti-tank missile. They are:
– Sgt. Max Steinberg, 24, from Beersheba.
– Staff Sgt. Shachar Tase, 20, from Pardesiya.
– Staff Sgt. Daniel Pomerantz, 20, from Kfar Azar.
– Sgt. Shon Mondshine, 19, from Tel Aviv.
– Sgt. Ben Oanounou, 19, from Ashdod.
– Staff Sgt. Oren Noach, 22, from Hoshaya.
The military says the body of a seventh soldier presumed killed in the attack has not yet been identified, though it stresses that there is little chance that the soldier survived the attack.
Hamas claimed on Sunday to have abducted an IDF soldier, though there has been no verification of this assertion.
