Iran general says country ready for ‘any threat’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA senior Iranian official says that the country’s Revolutionary Guards are “prepared to counter any foreign threat,” according to a report in Tasnim, a semi-official news agency.
“Today, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has immense power with reliance on people and faith (in God), and by possessing very advanced technologies, it is ready to counter any foreign threat,” Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari is quoted by Tasnim as saying.
He says that “defending the Islamic Revolution” is the main duty of the IRGC forces.
