Israel’s UN envoy praises Trump speech, thanks him for supporting Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDanny Danon, Israel’s envoy to the UN, praises US President Donald Trump for his tough speech to the General Assembly on Iran and thanks him for standing up for Israel at the United Nations.
“The president proves again that the US is on the right side of history,” Danon says in a statement just moments after Trump finishes speaking.
“While standing on the side of Israel in the struggle for stability in the Middle East, the United States leads the United Nations into a new era that ends its obsession with Israel, and pushes back against the Iranian regime,” he adds.
