Jewish Jerusalem man charged in racist beating of Arab men
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleProsecutors file an indictment at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court today against Jerusalem resident Aharon Azulai, 35, for allegedly attacking two Arab cleaning staff in the Old City.
The attack was motivated by racism, the prosecutors claim. He is being charged with assault with a racist motive, aggravated battery with a racist motive, and other offenses.
According to the indictment, Azulai approached one of the Arab men, pushed him and cut him in the elbow with a knife. He then beat the other man with a stick while yelling, “Death to Arabs.”
