Kushner says Israeli-Palestinian deal necessary for regional stability

“Let’s start right with it then. The president has a very long career of accomplishing things that a lot of people say were impossible,” Kushner says, giving the 2016 election as an example.
“We do think it’s achievable,” he says of a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.
Kushner is listing issues contributing to Middle East turmoil, from Iran to the Islamic State to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“If were going to try and create more stability in the region as a whole, you have to solve this issue,” he says of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
He acknowledges it is “not a conventional team” approaching the issue.
