Netanyahu, Kahlon meet for first time since coalition crisis
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon for the first time since the prime minister’s effort to delay the launch of the new public broadcaster wedged a divide between the two and stirred coalition tension.
The two are meeting on the subject in a bid to reach an agreement on the broadcaster, and its precursor, the Israel Broadcasting Authority, which is set to be closed by next month. If they fail to reach a deal, the prime minister has threatened to go to early elections.
Elections are not scheduled to take place until 2019.
