This morning the minister of public security told me I am a candidate for the position of the next chief of police.
I am very excited!
Israel Police, men and women, true fighters, have for many years been my brothers and sisters, brothers in arms and partners in many missions. I have deep appreciation and love for them.
I am happy with the trust shown in me and await the completion of the appointment process.
I have been serving [in various frameworks] since the age of 14, I was always committed to defend the State of Israel and when I was called today, I immediately answered the mission. As the Book of Isaiah says: “Here am I. Send me!”
