Plant evacuated after chemical leak

A Tnuva dairy plant in northern Israel has been evacuated after a dangerous chemical leaked, Ynet news reports.

There were no injuries reported in the incident, in which a pipe leaked nitric acid into the Alon Tavor plant in the Jezreel Valley.

Firefighters are currently trying to get the leak under control.

In April, the same plant was evacuated after an ammonia leak.
