PM welcomes upcoming approval of newest batch of settlement homes

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomes the announcement from Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman that thousands of settlement homes will be advanced through various planning stages next week.

“We are continuing with the sweeping development of settlement in Judea and Samaria with the approval of thousands of new housing units,” Netanyahu says in a statement.

“I especially congratulate Ma’aleh Adumim, which will build hundreds of units after a long period in which we worked to advance a construction plan (for the settlement).”

“This is another step in the development of settlements and in the near future we will approve additional units,” the prime minister says.
