Police chief vows crackdown on crime in Arab towns
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael Police Chief Roni Alsheich vows to step up enforcement in Arab communities where he says crime is rampant and “intolerable.”
“Police data reveals that while Arabs are 21 percent of the population, 59% of those convicted of murder are Arabs,” he tells the Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee.
He says the people who suffer most from the situation are Arab Israelis.
