Security cabinet to convene at 8 p.m

The top-level security cabinet will convene at 8 p.m. at the military headquarters in Tel Aviv, the Prime Minister’s Office announces.

The meeting comes as Israel prepares to launch a ground offensive on Gaza following the mass Hamas terror assault on Israel last week that killed more than 1,300 people, most of them civilians.
