Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Teachers Union announces a nationwide high school strike on Tuesday for grades 10 and 11, as part of an escalating fight over wages and conditions.
“I’m saddened to see the lack of interest shown by Education Minister Yoav Kisch in what is happening in the education system,” says union chairman Ran Erez. “The shortage of professional teachers, the abandonment and the disregard by Treasury officials of the high school teachers’ demands.”
