Truck driver held by police; roads closed
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleRoute 31 is blocked from Shoket junction to the Eshkolot roundabout and Route 40 is blocked from Lehavim junction toward Lehavim.
Commander Yoram Halevi, chief of the Southern District of Israel Police, says the driver of the truck is being interrogated by police.
“In fact what happened is a collision of a truck with a bus with light friction, but it was sufficient to kill many civilians in the bus.”
The bus passengers were reportedly all women returning from Jerusalem.
