Trump decries Human Rights Council, says ICC has ‘no jurisdiction’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTrump defends the US decision to withdraw from the Human Rights Council and says it won’t return unless “a real reform is enacted.” He also says “as far as the US is concerned, the ICC has no jurisdiction, no legitimacy.
“We will not surrender to unelected, unaccountable global bureaucracy. We reject the doctrine of globalism and embrace the doctrine of patriotism,” he says.
