Tzipi Hotovely appointed deputy FM
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLikud lawmaker Tzipi Hotovely will be Israel’s incoming deputy foreign minister, with no minister above her (effectively meaning she will run the show).
This is a blow to the Likud’s no. 2, Gilad Erdan, and to MK Silvan Shalom, both of whom vied for the foreign affairs portfolio.
This could mean that either Erdan or Shalom will not be in the government
