Vatican demands crackdown on Israeli far-right group
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Vatican city’s representative in Israel has called on Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to indict right-wing NGO Lehava for inciting violence against Christian targets in the Jewish state, Ynet reports.
“The writing is on the wall, and next [attack] that no one can foresee, is not a matter of if, but when,” the Vatican’s letter reads, further requesting that Lehava chairman Benzion Gopshtein be brought to trial.
