Wounded baby’s condition now termed ‘serious’

The condition of the baby who was injured in the foot is now being described as “serious” rather than “moderate,” although his wound hasn’t changed.

He is being moved from Shaare Zedek Medical Center to the Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem in an effort to save his foot.

“In order to exhaust all possibilities for saving the baby’s foot, we sent the baby to [Hadassah] for a form of surgery called ‘micro-surgery,'” Shoham Rubio, Shaare Zedek’s spokeswoman, says.
