A resident of a Tel Aviv suburb was hospitalized Saturday morning after choking on jachnun, a traditional Yemeni pastry.

The man, who Hebrew media reports said was in his 50s, was eating jachnun at his home in Givatayim when he began to choke.

First responders treated the man at his home before bringing him to Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital.
