60-year-old drowns in Tel Aviv, 35-year-old in Netanya

Two men drowned off Israel’s shores in two separate incidents on Saturday.
Magen David Adom paramedics were unable to resuscitate a 60-year-old man found floating in the water at Tel Aviv’s Frishman Beach.
Later Saturday, lifeguards pulled the body of a 35-year-old man out of the water at Netanyah’s Poleg Beach and declared him dead on the spot.
Earlier this week, a 20-year-old drowned off the Ashkelon shore.
Recent weeks have been characterized by dangerous sea conditions resulting in several drownings and near drownings.
