A capella Jews’ vid garners 100K hits in a day
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Jewish a capella group The Maccabeats released a Les Miserables tribute for the Passover holiday. At just over five minutes long, the music video features stage props, faux-Egyptian costumes, fake blood and a stuffed frog.
The clip rides the coattails of the recent “Les Miserables” film, based on the musical written by Claude-Michel Schonberg, and tells the biblical story of Exodus through the tunes of the successful Broadway hit.
As of Wednesday evening the video — posted Tuesday — had garnered almost 110,000 views.
