Several inches of snow fell in Jerusalem from midday Wednesday into Thursday, blanketing the city in white. The event, which only happens once every few years, brought the capital to a halt, and turned the city into a massive playground for lovers of snow. From the white-capped Dome of the Rock to slush covered light train tracks, Jerusalem of gold has become a photogenic Jerusalem of white.
